What Is Cleaning for a Reason?
Cleaning for a Reason is a national nonprofit organization providing free home cleanings for cancer patients across the United States and Canada. Since 2006, they’ve helped more than 50,000 households and coordinated over $18 million in donated cleanings.
When someone is navigating chemotherapy, radiation, surgery, or simply the emotional toll of a diagnosis, even basic tasks like vacuuming or wiping down a bathroom can feel impossible. This program steps in to lighten that load.
Our Impact in the Fox Valley Community
Since joining the Cleaning for a Reason network, we’ve had the privilege of supporting several families in the Fox Valley area with two free home cleanings during their cancer treatment.
How the Process Works
The application process is simple and secure: A cancer patient (or someone on their behalf) applies directly through CleaningForAReason.org. The organization matches the applicant with a local cleaning partner—like us. We provide two professional house cleanings at no cost.
That’s it. No catch. No strings. Just support when it’s needed most.
Why It Matters to Us
Our team is made up of people who care deeply—not just about clean homes, but about the humans who live in them. Partnering with Cleaning for a Reason allows us to extend our mission of “people first, judgment-free care” in a way that’s both meaningful and deeply personal.
