Best Day Housecleaning was formed in February of 2023 by Katherine Banks, a local mom and entrepreneur.  Katherine has over 25 years of experience combined in interior design, art, beauty, and customer service-related industries.
A busy mom who loves building new businesses, connecting with the community, and creating new opportunities for others, Katherine believes that Best Day Housekeeping can not only be the BEST residential housecleaning company in the Fox Valley but also the BEST place to work.

Best Day Housecleaning is an eco-friendly cleaning company. We use the following products:

EnvirOx Brand Cleaners - We use EnvirOx cleaners for 95% of our cleaning needs.  EnvirOx cleaners are Green Seal Certified and made in the US.  We use EnvirOx for everything from showers to mirrors, to stainless steel and kitchen counters.  It is a truly versatile product line that is safe for your family, your pets, and the environment. 
 
Plant-Based Dish Soap - We use a capful of dish soap in warm water when doing our deep cleans. We are fans of Kirkland, Mrs. Meyer's, and Better Life.  
 
Wood Cleaner - Better Life for the win again!  We love the way this product performs, smells, and the cherry on top is it is made of 100% plant-based ingredients and is completely biodegradable.
 
Dusting & Cleaning Supplies - Boy, we sure do love a Swiffer duster but the thought of all of those disposables makes us stare at the ceiling with fright at 3 a.m.  We supply all of our cleaning VIPs with reusable fleece dusters, microfibers, glass cloths, scrub sponges, floor pads, and paper towels. All cleaning cloths are used in 1 home and 1 home only.  They are cleaned and fresh for each home.

Charitable

The heart of everything we do starts with giving back to the community. We are a proud partner of Cleaning For a Reason which provides free home cleaning services to patients that are battling cancer.
